GPS Camera Privacy Policy
Information and permissions used by GPS Camera
- Camera: used to capture photos through the app.
- Precise and approximate location: used to provide location-based features such as GPS coordinates, altitude, location stamps, compass-related features, and other location-based information shown by the app.
- Photos and media / storage: used to save photos created with the app and to access images you choose to view, edit, or share through app features.
- Device sensors: device orientation and motion information may be used for compass, direction, and related camera features.
- Internet and network access: used for online features and third-party services such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, and purchase-related services.
How we use information
GPS Camera uses information and device permissions to provide the features you request, including capturing and saving photos, displaying or stamping location-related information, providing compass and direction features, showing weather information where available, and maintaining app functionality.
Photos and location information
Your camera, photos, and location information are used to provide GPS Camera features. Indigo Apps Co does not operate its own server for collecting or storing your precise GPS location. You can deny or revoke camera, location, and photo/media permissions through Android settings, although features that depend on those permissions may no longer work.
Advertising services used in the app may process location-related information for advertising purposes where permitted by your device settings, consent choices, applicable law, and the advertising service configuration. Indigo Apps Co does not sell your photos, precise location information, or personal information.
Analytics, diagnostics, advertising, and other Google services
GPS Camera uses third-party Google services that may process certain technical, usage, diagnostic, advertising, and location-related information as described below.
- Google Analytics for Firebase: may collect app usage and interaction information to help us understand how the app is used and improve it.
- Firebase Crashlytics: may collect crash reports, application state, device information, and installation identifiers to help diagnose crashes and improve stability.
- Google Mobile Ads / AdMob: automatically processes information such as IP address (which can be used to estimate general location), app interactions, diagnostic information, and device or advertising identifiers for advertising, analytics, measurement, and fraud prevention. Where enabled and permitted, advertising services may also process location information for ads-related purposes.
- Google Play Billing: is used to process in-app purchases. Payment information is handled by Google Play; Indigo Apps Co does not receive your full payment-card details.
- Google Play services: may be used to support location and other Android platform functionality.

Data sharing
We do not sell personal information. Technical information may be transmitted to service providers such as Google when their SDKs are used for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, billing, or related app services. Location-related information may also be processed by advertising services where enabled and permitted. Their processing is governed by their own privacy policies and applicable consent, device settings, and legal requirements.
Support communications
If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to provide, such as your email address, message content, and any attachments you send. We use this information to respond to your request and provide support.
Data retention
Photos you create are saved according to the storage choices and capabilities of your device. Support communications are retained only as long as reasonably necessary to handle the request and maintain appropriate records. Data processed by third-party services is retained according to those providers' policies and settings.
Your choices
- You can review, allow, or revoke app permissions through Android settings.
- You can manage advertising and privacy choices through your device and, where presented, consent controls in the app or Google services.
- You can remove photos saved on your device using your device's normal photo or file-management tools.
Children's privacy
GPS Camera is not directed to children under 13, or under the applicable minimum age of digital consent in a user's country. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children outside the operation of the third-party services described above.
Security
We use reasonable measures appropriate to the nature of the app and rely on established platform and service providers for services such as advertising, analytics, crash reporting, billing, and distribution. No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, its features, third-party services, or legal requirements change. The latest version will be published on this page with an updated date.
